ASEZA is the African Sustainable Economic Zone Alliance, an experienced developer and operator of Multisectoral Eco Industrial Parks. ASEZA is recognised by industry leaders as a strong partner to the oil & gas and mining sectors, as well as general manufacturing and agro-processing.
Beluluane Industrial Park (BIP) is owned and operated by MozParks which is part of the ASEZA network. The park has 700 ha of ready-developed industrial land for lease in Maputo Province. It is divided into Free Zones and Non-Free Zones.
Topuito Industrial Park (TIP) is a state-of-the-art innovation hub that focuses on nurturing small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Construction of the core infrastructure and facilities has been completed and will be expanded continuously.
Cabo Delgado Parks (CD Parks) is an initiative of the Cabo Delgado Provincial Executive Council, represented by the Cabo Delgado Economic Development Promotion centre (CPDE), who are the owners of the industrial parks, and MozParks as operators.
ASEZA offers a comprehensive range of services to cover the needs of all potential public and private partners, which in turn attracts local and foreign investments. Our services involve the development and/or operation of industrial facilities, the simplification of administrative procedures of SEZs and the creation of an industrial ecosystem which is a key piece to industrialisation.
Companies are not only benefiting from fiscal incentives but also from the industrial clustering and ecosystem that is created within a zone in terms of access to shared infrastructures, roads, water, electricity, security and telecommunication.
ASEZA plays an active role in protecting the environment and contributing to direct and indirect creation of jobs in each country it operates, thus contributing to the environmental and economic sustainability across African nations.
The ASEZA model is based on a commitment to social, economic and environmental sustainability.
Youth training and employment
The MozYouth internship programme has been active since 2018 in helping to improve access to skilled work for young people in Mozambique. Internships double the probability of gaining full-time employment and MozYouth has delivered over 1000 internship positions in the private sector. Half of the MozYouth participants gain full-time employment as a result of their participation in the programme. By helping hundreds of young Mozambicans into work each year, MozYouth, with MozParks and ASEZA, boosts skills development and job opportunities across the country.
