Youth training and employment

The MozYouth internship programme has been active since 2018 in helping to improve access to skilled work for young people in Mozambique. Internships double the probability of gaining full-time employment and MozYouth has delivered over 1000 internship positions in the private sector. Half of the MozYouth participants gain full-time employment as a result of their participation in the programme. By helping hundreds of young Mozambicans into work each year, MozYouth, with MozParks and ASEZA, boosts skills development and job opportunities across the country.

Green Economy

ASEZA’s industrial parks are strategically designed to accommodate green economy businesses, providing proximity to customers and suppliers. We actively explore renewable energy solutions, offering investment opportunities in solar energy and biofuels. Biodiversity preservation is integral to our approach, with green buffer zones and reforestation efforts integrated into each site.

Our commitment to environmental excellence ensures that all ASEZA parks adhere to stringent international environmental standards while exceeding community expectations for corporate social responsibility. Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do.

In collaboration with MozParks, ASEZA pioneers Mozambique’s inaugural Green Economy Secretariat, creating a robust network of green economy stakeholders and investors. This initiative aims to position Mozambique as a leader in sustainable practices, fostering dialogue, collaboration, and learning opportunities among businesses, organizations, and investors dedicated to environmental responsibility and innovation.
